PERSONAL: Hoyte helped lead his team to a 5-A state championship as a senior at Chamberlain High School in Tampa, Fla., finishing the year with 153 tackles and five sacks.
He was named The St. Petersburg Times' co-Player of the Year and earned the Coca-Cola Golden Helmet Award along with being a first-team all-state selection as a junior and senior and an all-conference choice for three years. He played in the Florida/Georgia All-Star game and the Hillsboro All-Star game at the conclusion of his prep career. Hoyte was a sports management major at North Carolina State.
